I am using a slightly different version of Internet Explorer on my Mac, but hopefully this solution will also work for you: 1) Open up Internet Explorer. 2) At the top, click on Explorer and click Preferences. 3) Remove the checkmark from "Use Address AutoComplete" 4) On the left side, click on "Forms AutoComplete" 5) Click on Disabled. 6) On the left side, click on "Advanced" 7) Click on "Clear History" 8) This should solve the problem for you. If you need any clarifications, please let me know and I will do my best to further assist you. tisme-ga | |

This is kind of a side note, but there is no such thing as an "eroneous prediction". Everything that comes up there has been typed in, at some time or other. Lots of cheating spouses and curious kids have been caught by the same auto-complete feature. It doesn't go away when you clear the history. You have to go through the steps mentioned in the answer to clear those. In fact, if you go to Google.com and just double-click on the space that you input your search query, a listing of items searched for will generally come up. Some people are surprised what they find, but it never lies... |

Many of these addresses can come from banner ads that are displayed on non related sites, thus you may have never visited the actual site, only one displaying a banner for the offensive site. |
