Are you refering to the "Pret a Manger" chain of restaurants or to any
"ready to eat" food store?

If you are refering to the chain, do you wish the answer to be
specific to that enterprise or a general look at the negatives to
opening a food business in Russia?

Also, any particular city/cities in Russia?

Any additional information you provide may help a Google Researcher to
find a better answer.

The reason people don't start business in RUSSIA is this; All business
in RUSSIA is controlled by the MAFIA. You can't do anything with out a
FAT BRIBE  & I mean every body. You can't get into a government
building unless you grease the palm of a MAFIA member standing out
side. There are very few FINANCIAL insituations in RUSSIA. If there
are they have guards with weapons to keep the MAFIA at bay. Every one
is corrupt in RUSSIA. I have never been there but I am married to a
RUSSIAN who is 23 years younger than me. She & her husband was rich
before the fall of COMMUNISM. Now they are broke so she left him for
another man & moved here. Then a divorce then to me. We are still very
BROKE. Why does it have a $ FIGURE in the question box. Isn't this a
free area?
