I am looking for a economical way of outsourcing the 3d modeling a line of furniture. I am not looking for autoCad type technical drawings but more realistic models that could be imported into a high end 3d application like 3dMax or Maya. An example of the type of furniture I am looking to model can be found at http://www.martinbrattrud.com/category.php I am not looking for texturing or lighting on these models. I would provide the company with photography and line drawings of the pieces. My main concerns are the ability to consistantly produce accurate models to scale, and in a timely fashion. I am not opposed with working with a over seas firm and finding the best balance between quality and cost is important. | |

The J. Goodman Library Page is a very well regarded links page for CG sites. http://users.cwnet.com/jgoodman/Library/library.html I suppose there is a conflict of interest in that one of the sites performing CG modeling listed under CG | Sites is a division of my company, Hammer Visual Engineering. However, this page provides an excellent list of CG houses, software and production companies. - Hammer |
