I reviewed my video of the episode of "The Shield" which featured this
song, and the lyrics are exactly as given above. The song is playing
in the background in a scene near the end of the show, when Dutch and
Wyms find the injured girl.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a song with these lyrics.
