What is the best TECHNIQUE or METHODOLOGY for screening drug adverse
event  of a givent product on the market? Please, be specific (e.g.
mention the possible sources to be used). Note: I have posted similar
question, in order to allow different researches to answer it, and to
get differents approaches to the same subject. I have also posted
questions about different aspects of pharmacovigilance. Please, be
specific to the core of the corresponding question.

I am referring here to POST-MARKETING SURVELLIANCE of drug products. I
would like specifically to know the method that pharmaceutical
companies are using to monitor their respective products. And more
specifically, how they make research in literature databases (ie.
Medline, Embase, etc.) for adverse events of the drug products they
market.
