Hi annisa: Thanks for the interesting (and all-too-relevant) question. The doctrine you are speaking of is called "The National Security Strategy for the United States of America". It was announced on September 20, 2002. You can find news stories about it at: Bush outlines first-strike doctrine URL: http://www.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/09/20/bush.national.security/ Bush Pushes First Strike Strategy http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/09/20/attack/main522701.shtml Bush outlines first-strike doctrine http://www.npym.org/iraq/flyer-bush-first-strike.rtf And you can find the doctrine itself at the White House website: The National Security Strategy for the United States of America http://www.whitehouse.gov/nsc/nss.pdf I hope this helps. websearcher-ga Search Strategy (on Google): Bush doctrine "first strike" |
