Dear Carluncho,

Thanks for your question. First, let me request that if any of the
following is unclear or if you require any further research – please
don’t hesitate to ask me for a clarification.

The top manufacturers of ammunition for US forces are as follows:

Alliant Technologies
NYSE::ATK

“Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK) is a supplier of aerospace and defense
products to the U.S. government, America's allies and major prime
contractors. ATK also is a supplier of ammunition to federal and local
law enforcement agencies and commercial markets. ATK designs, develops
and manufactures small-, medium- and large-caliber conventional
munitions for the U.S. and allied governments as well as for
commercial applications. The Company manufactures and develops
small-caliber ammunition for the U.S. military, U.S. allies, federal
and local law enforcement agencies, and commercial markets.”

Olin Corporation
NYSE::OLN

Olin is a diversified conglomerate – several of its subsidiaries, e.g.
Olin Brass and Winchester (should ring a bell… J) manufacture
ammunition for US forces.

“Olin Corporation is a manufacturer concentrated in three business
segments: Chlor Alkali Products, Metals and Winchester. Chlor Alkali
Products manufactures chlorine and caustic soda, sodium hydrosulfite,
hydrochloric acid and bleach products. Metals products include copper
and copper alloy sheet, strip and foil, welded tube, fabricated parts,
metal packages and stainless steel strip. Winchester products include
sporting ammunition, canister powder, reloading components, small
caliber military ammunition and industrial cartridges.”

L-3 Communications
NYSE::LLL

One of the company’s subsidiaries – BT Fuze Products - is a leading
supplier of ammunition to the US military:

More information about the company is available at -

A couple of major ammunition providers can’t be traded, unfortunately
– they are American Ammunition (privately held) and Israeli Military
Industries (owned by the Israeli government).

One large foreign manufacturer that is widely traded:

Singapore Technologies

Singapore Technologies trades on pink sheets as SGGKF
As well as on international exchanges as follows:

SIJX.BE	Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd	Berlin	N/A	Add
SIJX.D	Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd	Dusseldorf	N/A	Add
SIJX.DE	Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd	XETRA	N/A	Add
SIJX.F	Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd	Frankfurt	N/A	Add
SIJX.MU	Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd	Munich	N/A	Add
SIJX.SG	Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd	Stuttgart	N/A	Add
STEG.SI	Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd	Singapore

I hope this response adequately addresses your request. Please let me
know if you are in need of additional information concerning this
query.

Thanks,

Also, depending on what you want, think of
'which type of munition will get used most/
or largest dollar value' and also which is most
likely to be reordered during and after this.
There is some plant in OK as well as a Naval
Weapons plant in MN that I think is owned by
United Defense - was FMC.
