Question ID: 174125
How many homes in the United States have an appraised value of
$250,000 or more, $500,000 or more? How many for $750,000 or more.
If the information is not precise to those valuation levels (for
instance, if the categories are $250,000, $500,000 and $1 million)
that's okay. Most recent year statistics. Will pay double fee if
the information is also available by states.

Hello signatures-ga,

Thank you for your question.

The Census Bureau data based on twelve monthly samples during 2001 in
the United States for the value for specified owner-occupied housing
units are the following:

=====================
$250,000 to $299,999
---------------------
Estimate    2,315,592
Lower Bound 2,273,326
Upper Bound 2,357,858
=====================

=====================
$300,000 to $399,999
---------------------
Estimate    3,225,485
Lower Bound 3,180,600
Upper Bound 3,270,370
=====================

=====================
$400,000 to $499,999
---------------------
Estimate    1,479,403
Lower Bound 1,445,751
Upper Bound 1,513,055
=====================

=====================
$500,000 to $749,999
---------------------
Estimate    1,325,587
Lower Bound 1,295,826
Upper Bound 1,355,348
=====================

=====================
$750,000 to $999,999
---------------------
Estimate    435,375
Lower Bound 415,493
Upper Bound 455,258
=====================

=====================
$1,000,000 or more
---------------------
Estimate    364,209
Lower Bound 346,934
Upper Bound 381,485
=====================

Note: The confidence interval computed here is a 90 percent confidence
interval and can be interpreted roughly as providing 90 percent
certainty that the true number falls between the lower and upper
bounds. This is the most recent data available.

=====================

I made use of the search tool at the Census Bureau Fact Finder to
obtain the U.S. housing values by State. This is the most recent
statewide data available.

Signatures,

Bobbie7 is probably too classy to bring this up herself, but, while
browsing questions, I notice that you did not give the double fee you
promised for providing the requested info by state. You may not be
aware that, since you have rated and closed the question, you cannot
now give her the fee. If this is an oversight on your part, you can
post another question with a $50 price to her attention, for which you
will accept any answer. That way she can collect her fee for her
excellent answer.

For example:
