Hi, I heard a song about 2 weeks ago on 100.3 The Beat in Los Angeles.
 It was a very catchy song.  Faster than R&B/Soul, slower than
hiphop/rap.  It was all about dancing, and the lines that I remeber
were "It's all right to dance if you wanna", "you can dance in your
car, just don't run the light", and something like "everybody
feeling...all right, we can dance...all night".

I've searched google, but my song is not by MasterP, nor is it the
80's song.

Hmm...it's been a few weeks, so I'm not exactly sure what time it was.
 I heard it twice.  Once I think it was around 7-8PM, the other was
probably around 4 or 5PM.

The main voice is a guy.  I think there are some girls in the chorus.

Please don't think that the absence of an answer meant that we are
neglecting your question. Many Researchers (including me) have tried
to find your song. I searched for over an hour, and I could find no
song that included all the lyrics you listed, although there are many
songs that have portions of those lyrics.

Thanks, I didn't know if my post had been forgotten or if people were
still trying.  I know it's difficult, that's why I put it on here.  I
promise a good tip if someone finds it!
