Hi hafanana-ga,

I have done some research and found some information for you. I have
also found agencies that you could call and speak to them.

"The agency fees for surrogacy are as follows:

Traditional surrogacy:
$15,000. The agency fee is refundable in various amounts if the goal
of creating a child is not achieved.

Gestational surrogacy:
$17,000. The agency fee is refundable in various amounts if the goal
of creating a child is not achieved.

Excess Cycle Fee:
The agency fee described for traditional surrogacy includes our
administration services for up to four artificial insemination cycles,
with as many as three resting or non-inseminating cycles (a total of
seven months) with your surrogate. In the event pregnancy is not
accomplished and you elect to proceed with the same surrogate, an
additional fee of $1,000 will be due prior to the fifth insemination
cycle or seven months from the first insemination.
The agency fee described above for gestational surrogacy includes our
administration services for up to two IVF cycles, provided no more
than three months passes between the two cycles. An additional agency
fee of $1,500 will be due prior to a third IVF cycle or six months
from the first cycle.
Surrogate Delivery Outside of the United States:
An additional agency fee of $8,000 is due when the child is born to a
surrogate in any location outside of the fifty states of the United
States of America, regardless of whether planned or unplanned.

Cost
The cost of using a gestational carrier varies widely. An independent
adoption can cost at least $15,000, with about $12,000 going to the
carrier and the rest for legal fees (set by lawyers and agencies). If
you arrange a contract through an agency it can cost well over
$35,000, with $10,000 to $12,000 going to the carrier, $15,000 or more
to legal expenses, and $10,000-plus to agency fees. (Neither total
includes additional fees for the carrier's prenatal care and delivery
if they aren't covered by her insurance.)

I think the proceedure is rare every where. There may be zero
experienced teams with a good record in the Chek Republic or near by.
If so; why pay big money to get the job bungled, when you can bungle
it your self for lots less money with little professional help? Neil

The first step is; who is the sperm donner? step two; If you don't
already think you have found the surragate mother, run an ad in the
local news paper. The women should be 21 years old or a bit more, in
good health. It should be unlikely she will abuse substances including
tobacco, alcohol, and street drugs. If she has stong local ties she is
less apt to flee with your baby. If she is poor and poorly educated
and has no rich friends or relatives she is less likely to sue to keep
the baby. When you think you have the right women talk money and
details. You should cover all actual expenses, plus just a bit more.
Perhaps $500 dollars per month should be held by a reliable and
ethical 3d party, which should go to the women if she can not carry
the baby to full term. Less if it is partly her fault she lost the
baby. You should decide what to do if you and she disagree on prenatal
care. Neil

You should discus what will happen if she refuses to give you the
baby. This can happen and the court will likely award her the baby
reguardless of how your contract is worded. Discus what will happen if
she delivers twins, triplets or more. This is probable if she takes
fertility drugs to increase the probability of conception on the first
try. Discus the possibility of a slightly unhealthy baby, a slightly
deformed baby, expensive medical needs, even a baby born dead = still
born or not likely to live more than a year or two. The mother may be
much more likely to want to keep a defective baby than you are, and
you should agree in advance to cover reasonable medical expences for
the baby for several years if she keeps the defective baby. You should
probably write a health insurance policy on the baby that will pay
weather you get the baby or the mother gets the baby if that is
possible in The Czech Republic. You should probably pay her at least
$5000 when she delivers a healthy baby to you with proper adoption
papers, only a little less if the baby is unheathy or defective. I'm
sure there are other considerations. Hopefully other experts will also
comment. Neil
