How can I make Outlook XP (2002) working as a pop3 client (internet mail) to automatically add people I reply to into my address book? There was an option for it in older versions of outlook (internet mail only) but I can't find a way to do it in Outlook XP. I have tried this utility, which works: http://www.sperrysoftware.com/AddEmailAddress.asp But it has problems (freeze, crash) so I had to uninstall it. I also tried: http://www.ornicusa.com/add-ins/exlife.shtml And it's not working. I looked also here: http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/addauto.htm#ol2002 and couldn't get the VBA code to work. But I didn't find an answer / a tool that will enable me to do that. Do you know of any OTHER the above way / add-on / plug in, that will allow me to do that? Thanks, Ofer. |

The capability to automatically add as contacts people you reply to has been taken out of Outlook 2002. Did you contact Tech Support of either add-in you purchased? Perhaps there's something wrong with your setup? Finally, have you applied the latest service pack for Outlook 2002 available at http://office.microsoft.com/ProductUpdates/default.aspx ? |
