Help. Anyone have experience with AOL and the organize file? I can't move my organize file to my current version of AOL without the program locking up. I have thus lost MANY entries in my Favorite places because the file is now useless. I am running 7.0 presently. If only I could just OPEN the organize file to manually copy the entries into my present version of AOL or be able to move the file to my NEW version WITHOUT locking up! The AOL helpline is of NO help! Do you know how to open the organize file to retrieve the entries contained in the file? I would like to upgrade to 8.0. When I have tried to move the organize file to 8.0, it locked up. Many thanks! Fred | |

Oy! I have been there. I don't have a solution for you, but I would comment that 8.0 is notorious for not working well with certain operating systems. It seems to do okay with XP, but anything before that...it is often a disaster. So, the problem may in fact be 8.0. Just a thought. kriswrite |

Thanks for the input. I don't believe the problem is with 8.0, alone. It won't work with 7.0 either. Do you know how to open the organize file??? Thanks, Fred |
