There's a new MLM program doing the rounds. I know because my cleaner tells me that she's going to make a lot of money ... See: www.heartbarplus.com/ It seeems to me that they're flogging arginine at twice the price of other sources. Any other info available? And what should I say to my cleaner? |

The main twist to the marketing of "Heartbar" is that the overpriced arginine is being peddled as a miracle cure for erectile dysfunction. Perhaps they should have named it "Hardbar." ;-) http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=lang_en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&newwindow=1&safe=off&selm=Vo-dnevSqagGk3SgXTWcqA%40comcast.com You might want to point out to your cleaner some of the pitfalls of multi-level marketing: http://skepdic.com/mlm.html http://216.239.33.100/search?q=cache:LTwKuPWGOE4C:www.celcee.edu/products/digest/Dig98-2.html |

"A small California company, Cooke Pharma, claims that its new HeartBar is a "medical food," a category of products regulated by the FDA that allows much more specific health claims than dietary supplements. "This is a niche in the law," said Jeff Nedelman, a public relations consultant to Cooke Pharma." http://www.newhope.com/nfm-online/nfm_backs/Mar_99/medicalfood.cfm "a niche in the law" Is this another word for 'loop hole' ?
