Hello, I'm looking for a Windows environment screen scraping aplication to allow for the control of an existing application that is used via a mouse and has some authentication fields to complete it's task which we would like to automate. A learning/scripting package recommendations for the use on a single desktop would be ideal. The easier/simpler the better. /Lizardnation |

There is a mouse macro program I use a lot called "ghostmouse". It is very simple, and would require that for each time a set of commands wants to be issued, each window to be used would have to be in the same place as the first time. It also cannot learn or change what it does, it simply moves the mouse and clicks on the same stuff that the user did when programming the macro. With some creativity, I was able to get the program to edit things out of html files batch style. If this sounds promising, let me know what you are trying to do and I could probably give you a good example for how to do it. You can download ghostmouse here: http://www.mrdo.com/gmouse20.zip |
