I am looking for an old "follow directions" excercise I did in one of
my college classes a few years ago. The point of the exercise was to
learn to properly follow directions word for word - literally. One of
the exerceises was to "draw an i and dot it" which would have a lower
case i with an additional dot on top of it. I am looking for several
of these exercises.

There are many sites which have brain-teaser trick questions, but this
is the only exercise in following directions that I could find:

One of the more complicated classics for this is telling someone in
words how to tie their shoe.
