I need to know:

- Total population of Canada in 1966, 1971, or 1976 (whichever you can
find)
- Total immigrant population of Canada that same year 

Please use a reliable source: Statistics Canada, Citizenship &

Hi Hummer,

Thanks for the quick response!  I can see that you got your answer for
"TOTAL POPULATION BY CENSUS" from Table A2-14.  Which table did you
use for your answer for "TOTAL IMMIGRANT POPULATION BY CENSUS"?  I
need to provide exact citation information.

Hi kariny,

I was preparing dinner when it suddenly hit me that I had neglected to
give you the Series numbers.  I came right in to add them on but you
had already beat me to it.

A2-14. Population of Canada, by province, census dates, 1851 to 1976

A260-269. Population, Canadian, other British and foreign-born, by
sex, census dates, 1871 to 1971. (this one is further down on the same
page).

Sorry for the slip up!
