Thanks for your reply. You gave me a fair answer but if I wanted to
pursue this I'd need the name or some contact information of the
importer, unless the source you identified is an exclusive resource.
I am not comfortable with the people you located for me.

Finler,

Where in the U.S. are you located?

Would you be satisfied with the contact information for retailers in
the U.S. who carry this wine, or do require it for only importers?

Regards,

aceresearcher

Your first researcher did indeed tell me the first thing I had asked
about - was it still being produced. I live in New York City and
would recognize any important retail dealer in Manhattan's midtown.
Clearly I was not expecting the researcher to uselessly list every
retailer that was said to carry this wine - which is why I asked for
the importer's name so that I might do the rest of the contact job
myself. Please do no more than is REASONABLE to save me the "legwork"
as well as the nuisance of dealing with telephone "menus". Thank you -

Obviously I don't care about payment. Wein-Bauer, Inc. imports wine
from Eitelsbacher Marienholz made by Bischofliches Priesterseminar.
The email I received seemed to imply that they only import the QbA,
which will not satisfy you if you are looking for the Auselese.
Contact info for them is located at
http://www.weinbauer.com/contact.cfm . Below is the email I got from
sales@weinbauer.com:

Thank you for your inquiry.

As an importer and distributor, we are not able to sell wine directly
to
consumers.

We are still carrying a wine from Bischofliches Priesterseminar
(Eitelsbacher Marienholz QbA).

I do have a retailer here in the Chicago area that does mail order and
they
would be able to sell this wine to you. If you would like, you can
contact
Chuck at the Black Forest Wine Company - their e-mail address is

blakforst@aol.com

Please feel free to contact me if you need anything further.

Best Regards,
Tyna Gawryliszyn

Hope this helps. I know all too well the frustration of trying to find
wines from a specific tiny vineyard.

I am located in mid-Manhattan - New York City. (I only asked about
the importer to try for the retailer information myself. If you have
the retailer information readily please tell me about it. Thanks -
