bought a GAMEBOY ADVANCE in hong kong last week. reputable retailer,
international warranty. brought it to Canada as gift for my son. all
good EXCEPT the screen is sooo dark. can't see a thing unless playing
in extreme light. and even then, the image in clouded in muddy dark
hue. currently playing SPIRO formatted for gameboy advance. question:
how can we get a bright, crisp, clean image?

You are not alone in complaining about the dark screen. Here you will

It should also be noted that Nintendo just came out with their GBA SP.
 It's sidelit and viewable in the dark.  You weren't the only one
complaining. ;)
