Where can I find the book which accompanies my set of tarot cards by 
Mlle Lenormand?  I want a Portuguese translation! 
 
The pack of cards are called "Astro Mythological", or "Grand Jeu de 
Mlle Lenormand".  The publisher seems to be "Cartomancie Grimaud".  
The pack has a reference on it: 394105

answer to your question, no, it's not the booklet, I've already got
that, it's the full book I'm after which explains in detail the cards.

Hello Simon,

First, you need to be aware that this is an oracle deck, but not a
tarot set.  Secondly, a number of different decks, consisting of 36
(the original version), 52, 54 or 56 cards all bear the Lenormand
name. As far as I can make out, yours is the variant with 54 cards,
although one Italian site gives it as having 52 cards!  So you need to
take care, if you do find a book, that it relates to the correct deck.

I have found information on a book of 250+ pages about your deck,
which was originally published by a Dutch publisher.  The book is not
in their list of current books, but the rights are on offer and review
copies are available.  However, although translations in other
languages than Dutch or German are available from the publisher for
some titles, this cannot be guaranteed.

I have also found the following, which I believe relate to your deck:

A booklet containing an essay in French.  It is currently available
for 9 euro from a Belgian site. No information is given as to the
number of pages in this booklet.

Four books, all in French, available from diverse web site (prices
vary a little from one site to another)
a 156-page book, 14.90 euro
book, 211 pages 21 euro
book, 291 pages 21.35 euro
book, 238 pages, 14.95 euro

If details of these would be of interest as an answer, please reply.

Otherwise, some information on the deck in Portuguese is available in
Google's cache (you might want to save this to your computer, as it

Thank you tehuti, sorry for the delay in replying.

You found more on this than I ever could!  My deck is the 54-card one,
and it comes with a 31-page booklet in English and French.

The 250+ page book sounds like the one - I wonder if it's worth
finding out if there is an English or Portuguese one.  English would
do, Portuguese would be a bonus.

Thanks again.  You've answered this for me, if I can find it and buy
it (as long as I can afford it!).

Hello Simon,

have to negotiate with the publisher to see if they would give you a
review copy.  They are hoping to sell foreign language rights to the
book. As far as I am aware, it is not actually in print at present. 
Because this is such a slender lead, as opposed the the French books
which are all readily available, I do not think I can really give it
as an answer.
