Hello Whyme ...

Some clarification would help here.

Are you talking about Los Angeles County?

By "INS", are you referring to the Immigration and Naturalization
Service? Insurance? What do you mean by "INS"?

Thanks,
Serenata

Hi, Whyme2 ~

Below, you mentioned http://www.lacounty.inso ... it actually should
be
 - http://www.lacounty.info

And if you follow the leads there, I think you can find marriage
information forms and other information you'll need at this location:

They do have provisions for acquiring the information on an
'emergency' basis using a credit card, and you might want to check
with them. Notice that there are some phone numbers, too.

With regard to INS ... have you tried calling their local office? All
INS records are usually in their national database.

See if this helps,
Serenata

I think we need more information. Is La county the one where Los
Angelis, California is located? You can probably read land records,
deeds, mortgages, leins. You may be allowed to read marriage records,
or even devorce records. You probably can not read welfare records,
nor records of civil nor criminal trials. Some counties have a dozen
other catagories of records which may mention your wife's name. Did I
assume correctly that is the meaning of "wive's"

Is INS insurance? The county likely has no records of life insurance,
health insurance, mortgage insurance, liability insurance, vehicle
insurance, unless she was an employee of the county, has received care
as an indigent. or has registerd a complaint with the insurance
comissioner, who is likely State rather than county. Actually I am
guessing based on how things are done in a few other states.
California is often different. Neil

Response: I can find no records of marital status or ciminal record on
my wife and she is sure she was married in 1982. she also was
incarcerated and i need to find some documentation either way to help
her. She is a legal alian she resided in imperial county and in la
county. I used :USSEARCH" background check and they found little
information on her. They suggested I use "GOOGLE" They suggested
this website http://www.lacounty.inso but i could not get the website.
i did not want to travel to LA. if i could obtain via GOOGLE.
