How do I use on-line directories to find what I want? Where can I
find a list of people who currently have an FHA mortgage loan in Utah?
( I know it's public record, i just don't know where to look)

Hello there. I'm not sure the information you are looking for is
publicly available -- at least not to the general public. I believe
FHA makes this available only to lenders. If you have reason to think
otherwise, perhaps you could elaborate a bit, so as to make it more
likely you can get the answer you need.

I know that FHA loans and all mortgages are public record and can be
found at the county courthouse. However, the process of looking them
up is tedious. You can look up a specific property and then find out
all the information on that particular property. I just figured that
because it is public information, there would be someone who has
compiled it and is selling it.

thanks.

Hi. You will find the information you are seeking about FHA
loans/list of people in Utah available for purchase at
< http://www.mortgagelists.com/ > This is the website for Basis100
Inc. "a technology solution provider for the financial services
industry".

They say that, among other things, they have the largest database of
FHA/VA home loans with exact interest rates, and provide current
ownership data which allows access to all sale and lien data (with
REALM option). Utah is one of the 47 states for which they provide
information. Targeted mailing lists are definitely available for
purchase.

The pricing is listed at < http://www.mortgagelists.com/data_card.html
>

The Google search term I used was "fha mortgage database".

FYI, you might want to check out Lists 2 U <
http://www.list2u.com/list.cfm?state=Utah >

Thanks for using Google Answers! If you have want anything clarified
about my answer, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best regards,
acorn-ga
