I am looking for the ancestor of a Swedish woman, Connie Peters, born
02/07/1903. Time for death unknown but it is in "modern" time although
a few years ago. Can You find them for me?

Best regards,

Thomas Isaksson

I have found the death date for Connie Peters, as well as the place
she lived at the time of her death. I will contact the local
newspaper in that area, to see whether it has any information that
might help me to find her ancestors.

In the meantime, you might be able to provide further information to
assist in this research.

Was Connie the name she was born with, or was Connie a nickname or
shortened version of her given name?

Was Peters her maiden name or married name?

If she was married, do you know what her husband's name was?

Did she have a middle name?

Do you know where in Sweden she was born, or where her mother and/or
father came from?

Do you have any information -- names, dates of birth, dates of death,
etc. -- about any siblings or other relatives of Connie Peters? (I am
reluctant to ask about any living relatives, since I wouldn't want to
invade their privacy. In any event, information on relatives of
Connie Peters' generation or older would probably be most helpful for
researching her ancestors.)

Do you know when she left Sweden?

Also, are you looking for a particular ancestor? Or are you just
looking for the names of her parents?

How much information about these ancestors would be sufficient? Would
the names be enough, or do you need more?

I apologize, it is her children I am interested in to find. If no
children exist I am interested in finding other living relatives.

I have no additional information to give, other than she had
connections to the very south of Sweden and especially the city of
Malmoe (Malmö). Connie was her real name but Peters is most certainly
her married thus it is not a Swedish name.

I am not related to her at all but I am curious if it is possible to
find her, she is a discussed "case" here because she had some smaller
assets in Sweden when she died and the law firm did not find her
children at the time of her death. They have kind of given up (most
certainly becuase there is no money in it for them and the assets are
of smaller value...) but maybe You are able to do a better job.

Best regards,

Thomas

OK but then I am satisfied if You could give me all information
available about Connie Peters; where did she live, when did she died,
US security number, husbands name (if dead) etc.

Best regards,

Thomas

I have the information on the county where she resided at the time of
her death, the exact date when she died, and her U.S. Social Security
number. I do not have information on her husband's name. I could
also provide you with information on how to obtain a copy of the death
certificate (which hopefully would contain information on birth place
and parents).

Would this information be sufficient?

If You also could give me her latest address and place of birth I am satisfied.

Best regards,

Thomas

I'm sorry, I don't have the specific address or the place of birth.
You would likely get this information from the death certificate.

Given that, would the information I have be enough for you?

What other information do you have that might assist with genealogical
research? City and/or country where she normally would have
lived/died? Husband's name? Children's name? Her occupation? When
you say ancestor do you mean her parents or other family members
BEFORE she was born or are you looking for currently surviving members
of her family? Are you related to her or not?

It is unfortunate that you meant "descendant", rather than "ancestor".

Researchers for Google Answers may not answer questions that "request
information about private individuals."

"Google Answers: Frequently Asked Questions: What questions can I
ask?"
Google Answers

A Researcher can provide information about a person who has died, but
not about a living private individual. Thus, it appears that a
Researcher can only provide you with information about Connie Peters
herself, and about her children (if any) who have passed away.

There is an excellent website called www.peoplesite.com that does a
great job of handling inquiries similar to yours. They are a message
board that posts messages regarding searches for genealogy, veterans,
lost friends, missing persons, etc. Click on the "BROWSE CATEGORIES"
link and then select GENEALOGY, and then post your query, and a
researcher can help find the answer you seek.

I expect to be receiving this obituary notice in about 10 days. So,
if after you have received the death certificate, you still need
follow-up research to locate surviving family, then please post a
message to the www.peoplesite.com so that someone can assist you.
