Hi drbassett:

Thanks for the interesting question.

One point of clarification...

Do you intend:

1. to get a list of officers/schools with this particular question.
This means that once you're given the cost estimate, you'll
raise/lower the price on this particular question accordingly.

2. or are you looking to pay $40 to be given an estimate on the fair
price for such research - and then you'll open another question to
actually *do* the research?

(The answer to this will help us Researchers know whether to post the
cost estimate as an Answer or as a Clarification Request.)

Thanks.

Hi drbassett:

Another important consideration is how you want to specify which
governors are alleged "corporate crooks" for the sake of this
question.

Are you looking for:

* officers that have been indicted or who might soon be indicted?

* all major officers (including or excluding board members) who worked
for the company when the scandals hit?

* all major officers (including or excluding board members) who
currently work for the company?

* some other criteria

Your answer to this question will have a profound effect on the amount
of research time required.

Thanks.

From yahoo/finance.com or numerous other financial reference sources,
enter a company’s name Example: Enron. Then follow links to “Officers
& Directors” The list will generally have a link to a short CV of each
“O&D”.

If education is not clearly spelt out (Yes, Spelt is Spelled
correctly) then putting the persons name into a search engine or two
will generally yield the desired result, namely educational
background. It is not necessary to perform an exhaustive search on
each “O&D”. I would be satisfied if you could yield two or three per
company. After I review the results, I may conduct a more detailed
investigation. The estimated total time to complete 90 -120 minutes.
Cheers!

Hello drbassett:

Thank you for the clarification. It certainly refined what it is you
expected of an answer.

Here is the information you seek. It took me about 3 hours to piece
together everything you see below.

To find this information, I first did searches for the appropriate
executives. I determined this by comparing current executives with
those who I found in searches like:

COMPANY NAME scandal
COMPANY NAME resigned
COMPANY NAME executives

I then picked the top 1 - 3 people who seemed to be best bets.

For each of these people, I did searches like:

PERSON NAME scandal
PERSON NAME background
PERSON NAME graduated
PERSON NAME university OR college

and many others.

Please keep in mind that I am not saying the people listed below are
guilty of any crimes. They are merely the ones most closely associated
to the scandals in their respective companies.

Jeffery Skilling is listed twice is this correct?

Clarification of Answer by websearcher-ga on 18 Mar 2003 13:49 PST
Hi drbassett:

That is an error. Mr. Skilling did not work for Global Crossing. My
apologies for the confusion. You can add to the list (in his stead):

Leo Hindery - former CEO

* undergraduate degree, Seattle University
* Masters (business admin.), Stanford University

Sorry again for my mistake.
