Hello. It depends. Many hosts (like Xanga and Blogger) have no option to block searching, and are fully indexed on Google. For instance if one searches for a random word like "orange" and limits the results by using the term "site:xanga.com" or "site:blogspot.com" one gets these results respectively: ://www.google.com/search?q=site:xanga.com+orange&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 ://www.google.com/search?q=site:blogspot.com+orange&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 However, LiveJournal and hosts that use its code (like Blurty, Deadjournal, and uJournal) have an option to "Block Robots/Spiders from indexing your journal." Google is among the search engines whose spiders respect this rule. Please let me know if you need a clarification before you rate this answer.
