"Henk" is the short form of the Dutch name "Hendrick." In turn,
"Hendrick" is the Dutch form of the Germanic name "Heimerich" or
"Heinrich." In English, this name is "Henry."

Just something of interest regarding the variations of this name.

My great-uncle, born in Holland in 1883, was christened with the name
"Hendrik". He was initially a merchant seaman, but was in Australia
when World War I broke out, and joined up in the A.I.F. By the time he
was killed at the Battle of Messines in 1917, he - and presumably his
Aussie mates - used the name "Harry".
