Dear MadCowEater (be careful out there, the cows might fight back ;-)
,

According to the list "American Victims of Terrorists - 2000's" (at
the site http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Stands/5008/2000s.html),
25 American civilians have died in terrorists attacks since the
September 11th. The list doesn't mention the death of an American
woman and her 17-year-old daughter in an attack on a church in
Pakistan (March 17th, 2002); an American missionary in the Philippines
on June 7th, 2002; the five victims of the Anthrax attacks;

This figure does not include Americans who served in the Armed forces
or the diplomatic forces, and were attacked by terrorists. Lawrence
Foley, a USAID employee, was killed on 28 Oct 2002, in Jordan; and Sgt
1st Cls Mark Wayne Jackson, was killed in an explosion in the
Philippines on October 2, 2002.

All in all, there were 34 American victims of terrorism (29, if you
omit those who were killed by the anthrax attacks in the US), most of
them in Israel/Palestine, the Philippines and Pakistan. In three other
attacks on American targets (on the Consulate in Karachi, Pakistan on
the embassy in Lima, Peru, and on an American Centre in Culcuta,
India) no Americans were killed.

In order to compile this data, I search the Internet for "american
victims" of terrorism and for chronology of terrorist incidents. From
what I found, I especially recommend ICT http://www.ict.org.il/ as a
source - each terrorist attack since the 1980s is documented and
searchable through the computer.

I hope this answers your question. Please contact me if you need any
clarification. I'd be pleased to clarify my answer before you rate it.
