I need stock quotes for Mach 27, 1984 for Wyeth and American Home
Products (absorbed by Wyeth subsequently).

Overture - -

This search is made difficult by the fact that American Home Products
purchased Wyeth Laboratories before March 27, 1984 - - so there are no
stock quotes for Wyeth.  After I checked all of the exchanges, I found
an advertisement for Wyeth which mentions that they are a division of
American Home.

Since then the company has changed its name to Wyeth Pharmaceutical,
as our good friends at Hoover’s Online note:

The March 28, 1984 New York Times shows the following information for
American Home trades on March 27:
High: 52 5/8
Low: 52 ½
Close: 52 ½
Change: + 1/8

The DJIA was 1,154.31 at the close on March 27, 1984.

The 52-week trading range for American Home on that date was 42 7/8 -
- 54 3/8.
