I need to know how much it would cost to open a low-power tv station,
assuming that I have the license and transmitter. In other words, how
much would it cost to open a small local studio, control room and
master control? With basic item list.

Midsize stations typically spend a million dollars, but I suppose
obsolete equipment can sometimes be purchased for one thousand dollars
when stations upgrade. A person with technical expertise needs to be
present for dismantaling, loading and reassembling at your site. A
very skilled person is needed to make repairs and adjustment. With
good luck $10,000 might cover barest essentials except the transmitter
antennas and buildings. Neil
