Question ID: 178829
I am looking for a supplier of the lenses and/or lens housing that are
used in web cameras. I am not interested in the expensive lab type
lenses (although it's not the cost that's my primary concern). What
I'm trying to do is outfit a web camera with a wide angle lens. What
I have been using to do this is a wide angle lens piece from Logitech
that pastes onto the front of the web camera. The problem with this
is that it's not a very clean solution. What I'm looking for is a way
to actually replace the lens in the camera and thread the new lens
into the lens housing. Or alternatively, completely replace the lens
housing.

I'm currently using a Logitech Pro 4000 web camera, but I think most
cameras use a standard lens housing size, so I think if you can find a
lens that will screw into this housing it will also work with other
cameras.
