Obebe,

I am having a hard time knowing quite how to focus an answer to this
question, and I think my fellow researchers are having the same
difficulty.

One report I examined listed the main European agriculture issues in
the following category areas:

--Markets and Prices
--Enlargement (of the European Union)
--Environment and Landscape
--Women in Agriculture
--Organic Farming and Biotechnology
--Risk Management

Pretty much each of these areas involved materials handling issues to
some degree, but none of them treated material handling as a priority
issue (with the possible exception of "Risk Management", where
handling techniques are extremely important in preventing mad cow
disease).

My question to you is:

--would you like a link to this report, and several similar reports,
as an answer to your question?

--are there specific areas you particularly want more in-depth
information on?

--can you let us know if you are interested in (a) broad issues
pertaining to EU agriculture or (b) materials handling?  I'm afraid
it's not very manageable to do both in a single question.

Anything you can add to clarify your interests here would be a great
help.

Just out of curiousity obebe, what is the reason behind the questions
you have been asking on GA?  If this is for your job or a company, we
have very similar roles.
