Dear tigers1-ga:

Here is an example of an album like yours for sale for $700. From what
I have seen, this price is extremely optimistic to say the least.

A much more reasonable expectation for this album, depending of course
upon the condition, etc, would be somewhere in the neighborhood of
$100-$500. Even still, for the highest price (upwards to $700 or so)
the album would need to be pristine, unsued and still in it's
original, unopened celophane wrapper.

As you can see, a book recently sold that was hand signed by all four
Beatles, for less that $3000 so there is unfortunately no life fortune
hiding in an unsigned Beatles album - even a relatively rare one.

EBAY - HAND SIGNED ABBEY ROAD BOOK

It would stand to reason that people normally ask a higher price that
what they are actually willing to take so with regard to this
particular album, yes, you can quit work, but only if $1000 or less
creates a large enough nest egg for you to retire on.

Having worked in the used record industry, I can tell you that the
ironic truth is that rare records by huge groups like the Beatles,
where one would assume the demand is great because of the band's fame,
are often far less valuable than one would assume simply because of
the great quantity of units originally sold! in the twisted world of
collectable records, it is often the most obscure printings of the
most obscure bands that get the big bucks. the notable Beatles
exception would be an unpeeled, pristine copy of Yesterday and Today
with the "butcher cover" underneath the pasted-on wide release cover.
these are valuable mostly because there are so few! an informative
website on this album is: http://www.eskimo.com/~bpentium/butcher.html
