Seeking rectangular (approx 5' long) cast iron bath tub finished on
one side and one end. Prefer 1920's or 30's style but newer will do.
Most bath tubs have a finished "apron" "skirt" or "side" on one of the
long sides. I am seeking one that is finished on the right side (as if
you were standing in the tub at the drain and faucet end and were
facing the other end of the tub). The end is finished as well (the end
that does not have the drain/faucet). Most tubs fit between two
finished walls so they do not have a finished end. I have searched
"vintage tubs" and find only claw foot tubs or oval tubs which sit on
a base. A great answer would be a site link where I could buy one in
the US or Canada. Must be white. Thanks

Hi hobancottag,

I found a tub that meets your criteria in Seattle, WA. Unfortunately,
they don't ship, --anywhere. There are stores that sell these items
all across the US, if you can give me a large city near you, I'll post
an answer with the nearest one...

* historic-homes.com, Charlottesville, Va
How about this one?...It has a raised side anyways...

text "Rare Victorian foot tub" to find the right section)

Cynthia,
Thanks for your assistance. I haven't seen anything from the websites
you have referenced. Any more word from the company in Seattle that
you mentioned?
Appreciate the help!
Tom
