Thanks for your question.  Here is a breakdown of each Presidential
election in the United States since 1928.  The first candidate listed
for each year won the election.  I have listed the primary candidates
as there were several years where there were several third party
candidates that ran as well.  Following this list is another list of
candidates that includes all the candidates receiving votes:
