Me? I'm a UK national and I live in the UK but I suspect that some other users are mere Colonials. Hands Up! (by way of a Comment) Where are you? |

*raises hand up* I'm in the United States, just across the pond, but I don't think that "mere" colonials gives us justice to the amount of comaraderie we share on the battle field and off. You say torch, we say flashlight, you say lift, we say elevator, you say answerphone (I'll never get that), we say answering machine. We're not much more different than that. We enjoy a healthy dose of Elizabeth Hurley, and I'm sure you've blushed once or twice at the wink and pucker of Marilyn Monroe. Search Strategy: my license (sometimes I forget where I live after filling my head with all these questions and answers) skermit-ga |

Please Probonopublico, just remember the Americans are ex-colonials. Give them some more time, they will see the error of their ways and return to the fold. Regards, Kemlo. |

I live in Oklahoma, which some regard as part of the United States. Others view Oklahoma as merely "Baja Kansas." And still others (the great majority) pay no attention to us Okies at all. |

By way of explanation: I assume you're asking about the national origins of those who post questions on Google Answers; although I most often serve on the other side of the exhange, I do qualify as a GA customer, since I've asked two questions. ~Pink |

I haven't signed up as an expert, but I read about half the question sumaries and comment on about 2%. My guess is 60% USA, 10% Canada, 5% Austrailia 10% other United Kingdom and 15% divided between more 100 countries. I am in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Neil |

Hi, Pinky I've been to Oklahoma (to a place called Tulsa) but I never saw you. Were you deliberately avoiding me? Very disappointed with Oklahoma ... Nothing like the musical ... No horses or Surreys with a fringe on top. KR B |

Bryan, I am sorry I missed you when you came to Tulsa, the town in which I was born and raised, and in which one day I will surely die. If you saw a pink glow in the vicinity of Riverside Drive, well, that was my aura. The horses and the surrey with the fringe on top are actually ten miles west of Tulsa, at a delightful outdoor dinner theatre called Discoveryland USA. All summer long, Discoveryland presents beautifully-choreographed productions of... you guessed it... Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Oklahoma!" http://www.discoverylandusa.com/ ~Pink |

Hi, Pink I saw the pink glow ... without ever realising ... but I recall singing 'I'm only 24 Minutes from Pinky' ... Masculine intuition? KR Bryan |

And I'm a Scotsman, living in Fife, and working in Edinburgh, where I get to walk past the famous castle every day. Its allure pales after the twentieth consecutive day of rain :) willie-ga |
