Please define what you mean by "search portal" and "demand". An
example of what you consider to be a search portal would be nice. By
demand, do you mean number of visitors?

By demand, i mean the number of prospective e-customers that would
visit a search portal. An example of a search portal would be Ask
Jeeves or Google answers or www.keen.com.

Total prospective market for search portals = total number of people
online. This is why Google is the #3 most popular site after Yahoo and
MSN, which offer search and email.
