hello !!! VF 11 liquid fertilizer does not kill the earth worms. Any fertilizer which is Organics is not harm to earthworms.Earthworms digest the organic matter in soil. Organic matter is dragged into their burrows and is broken down. VF-11 liquid fertilizer is an Organic and nox toxic fertilizer. In generality one can not say whether the liquid fertilizer harm/kill the earth warms or not? They may or they may not. It depends upon the chemicals used in the fertilizers. If the fertilizers used chemical such as organophosphates or copper, those fertilizers are harmful to earthworms There are many good sites which conatins the information about the Organic fertilizers and earth worms. such as http://www.eap.mcgill.ca/MagRack/SF/FAll%2092%20M.htm http://www.ag.usask.ca/cofa/departments/hort/hortinfo/yards/earthwor.html http://www.wormfarm.com/discuss.html Also the information on VF-11 liquid fertilizer culd be found at the following web site. http://www.californiagoldjojoba.com/html/for_farm_use.htm I hope this helps. |
