Hi there!

There are several free resources you can use to help you verify
someone's name - be aware, however that if the person you're seeking
has an unlisted number and has taken steps to keep his contact
information private and off the 'Net, these will not work.

Netscape People Finder
http://wp.netscape.com/netcenter/whitepages.html

Reverse Phone Directory
http://www.reversephonedirectory.com/

Reverse Address Directory
http://www.reverseaddress.com/

Unlisted Etcetera offers more detailed searches for $25 - $250 per
search. Like the free searches, these are not fool-proof, and the
searches are non-refundable:

Good luck!
