What I have: redhat linux 7.3 apache 1.3.27 virtual host config with DocumentRoot /www/htdocs/html ScriptAlias /cgi-bin "/www/htdocs/cgi-bin" DirectoryIndex index.cgi index.html What I want to do: if I hit http://domain.com/, the server returns index.html If I hit http://domain.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi, I get the output from index.cgi However, If I hit http://domain.com/cgi-bin/ , I get a 403 forbidden error. Can you combine the ScriptAlias and DirectoryIndex commands? I can workaround with a sybmolic link if I have to, but I prefer not to. To answer the question, either provide me with the info on how to do this, or prove (probably via url references) that I cannot. |
