"Day of the Tentacle" is a zany DOS-based game that involves George Washington. Here's a description. See if this sounds familiar: http://lucasfans.mixnmojo.com/games/reviews_dott.html |

Could it possibly be "Time Traveller"? I've never played it, but searching for '"comely wench" "george washington"' brought me to a description of a text-mode DOS game that features a comely wench, which sounded similar to what you were looking for, and searching for 'time traveller game dos text' afterwards took me here: http://www.wurb.com/if/game/658 |
