The question (below) was answered successfully, but I couldn't figure
out how to indicate so. I appreciate the leg-work done by user

you. Please take your credit!

[ Original question... ]
Regarding the Borland Pascal 7 compiler IDE for MS-DOS (no longer
supported by Borland), I'm looking for information I once viewed
briefly online, but can no longer find. It was a patch to customize
the size of the edit window in the IDE (the integrated editor) by
removing the menu and status lines located at the top and bottom of
the editor window. This increased the total lines available for text
editing (by two lines). I believe it also offered an auto-corrector
feature and the ability to modify the function of the editor's keys
(even those which are not intended to be modified by the Borland
package's included key customizing utility called TEMC). As I recall,
this patch was provided for public use. Last seen online perhaps two
years ago.

I have found a similar auto-corrector for Borland Pascal on the Garbo
archive but this is not the same "patch" I'm looking for. I've have
not gone through Garbo or other locations with a fine tooth comb to
insure I've not overlooked this. I'm not certain is was available
amid the common repository of "old" turbo/borland pascal downloads.

An acceptable answer would include at least the author's name and
email address,if not a posted web page for the patch as well.

Hello Marinkotech,

Thanks for the kind words and follow up.

To answer your "how to use Google Answers" question, a question
clarification from you saying my "request for question clarification"
was correct would have been sufficient. I would then "answer" the
question to get the credit (and avoid another $0.50 fee to Google).
[yes - that sounds awful but is pretty easy to do]

The "new" answer to go with the question is as follows:

I can't tell for sure, but the following site has something that
appears to match your question.
       http://www.wpusa.dynip.com/files2/PROGLIB/
scroll down to BPR38.ZIP, dated 1996, and includes
       "auto corrector"
       "extended text mode"
"adds 2 lines" (by removing menu & status lines)
and more.

I found this using a search with terms such as
Borland Pascal 7 compiler IDE MS-DOS auto corrector
and the site listed appears in the top few items and was the only hit
with the zip file that I found.

Good luck in using this product.

Found exactly what I couldn't find (but didn't care to keep searching
for). Very specific question answered a couple days later.
Excellent.
