Question ID: 180506
I have a multihomed Apache server. This means, I'm using the same ip
address and port number (80) for a couple of different domain names.
I'm looking for a way to run JSP files on all of these different
domain names.

Is there a way to associate all these virtual hosts to different JRun
servers? My problem is that JRun uses port numbers to distinguish
between servers. However I want to use domain names with the same IP
and port 80.

If this is not possible with JRun, is it possible with Tomcat?

I'd appreciate your giving me a step by step definition for the setup
either with JRun or Tomcat. I'd like to use the latest version of
Apache (2) with JRun 4 or Tomcat 4.1.24 (latest version).

If it's not possible with Apache, would it be possible with IIS? If
so how?

Thanks,
Asim Alp

Some good information on using Tomcat 4.x with Apache to handle
virtual hosts:
