I have found a site where you can view photos of Randi Rahm and the
multimillion dollar dress that she designed for the Academy Awards
presentation. Here is a description of the dress, from the New York
Times:

"Randi Rahm, she's a lady designer" — you'll remember she is one of
Mr. Long's clients — "designed a $2.3 million dress in collaboration
with STEFAN HAFNER, an Italian jeweler. It was two layers of gold
chiffon, and on top there were flowers made from cognac, yellow and
white diamonds. It has almost 433 karats of diamonds, and each diamond
is hand-set, so whoever wore the dress could take it apart and make
rings."

(That was a joke, by the way. Mr. Long doesn't really think someone
might do that.)

"Hundreds of people wanted to wear it, but we were holding out for
HALLE BERRY or DIANE LANE. We'd spoken with stylists for both of them.
We didn't have confirmation, but both were interested. Then, when war
seemed inevitable, we decided it was not the time to have it
unveiled."

Let me know if you'd like me to post as an answer the site I've
located, which features sixteen photos of Randi Rahm and the Academy
Awards dress, including close-ups of the dress from different angles.

If you're still interested in finding the photos you asked about, it
would be helpful if you could give a few more details about the
dresses in question. I have not found anything on the Web featuring
Randi Rahm's Academy Awards designs other than the 16-photo site I
mentioned.

I'm glad to be able to provide this information for you.

Here you will find sixteen photos of Randi Rahm and the fashions she
has designed, focusing on the multimillion dollar "Academy Awards"
dress:

Rex Features
http://www.rexfeatures.com/cgi-bin/r2news0?t=409770&m=2&z=0

For an enlargement of each photo, just click on the small version.

To locate the photos, I began with a Google News Search using these
keyphrases:

Google News Search: "randi rahm" + "academy awards"
http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&q=%22randi+rahm%22+%22academy+awards

Although this search did not produce photos of Randi Rahm's creations,
I noticed this, in an article about a hotel in Beverly Hills:

"Le Meridien Hotel at Beverly Hills is style central during the 75th
Academy Awards®. The hotel will host the exclusive "Le Meridien at
Beverly Hills Red Carpet Designer Week" March 17 - 23, 2003, where top
designers from around the world will showcase their ravishing red
carpet looks... In the Garden Suite is "The Best of Italy at the
Oscars®," a showcase of designers Alvin Valley, Giuseppe Zanotti,
Autore, Udi Behr, Rita Wartick's Lily et Cie., Samantha Thavasa and
Italian jewelers Antonini, Augusta De Carolis, Favero, Garavelli, K di
Kuore, Luca Carati, Pasquale Bruni, Pianegonda, Piranesi, Stefan
Hafner, and Torrini Zydo. "The Best of Italy at the Oscars®" includes
a multi-million dollar dress designed by Randi Rahm."

Yahoo! Finance
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/030313/lath029_1.html

I then performed a Google Web Search using the keyphrase "Best of
Italy at the Oscars."

Google Web Search: "best of italy at the oscars"

Since the page with the sixteen photos misspelled Randi Rahm's last
name as 'Rahn', this roundabout method of searching was probably the
only way to have found the page.

For more on Academy Awards fashions, you may want to keep an eye on
L.A. Starz Magazine. The April edition will feature the "Best of Italy
at the Oscars" designer showcase:

"COMING IN THE APRIL ISSUE of L.A. STARZ:
We're bringing you exclusive full-color, multi-page coverage of the
Screen Actors Guild Awards and Talent Retreat! Also, the Independent
Spirit Awards, an inside look at Hollywood's 'Best of Italy at the
Oscars' designer showcase and many more Oscar week events!"

If anything I've said is not clear, or if any of the links above do
not function, please request clarification before rating my answer,
and I'll do my best to offer further assistance.

This is one of the sixteen photos found at the site I mentioned above:

http://www.mortalwombat.com/Special/RandiRahm.jpg

There are two other photos of Randi Rahm with a group of dresses, and
one photo of Randi alone; the remaining twelve images are various
views of the multimillion dollar dress.

Please excuse my uninvited request for clarification of your meaning.
Did you intend to suggest that pinkfreud's comment was suitable as an
answer to your question, and that she should formally post it as an
answer so as to collect her fee and close this question?

I would not ordinarly be so intrusive, but I don't anticipate that
pinkfreud (the classy lady that she is) will post her comments as an
answer unless you give her clear authorization to do so.
