Greetings, judtz9029! The lyrics you are seeking, as well as a polka-ish midi playing the music, are available on Varlo's page: "I'm looking under a skirt of wonder that I've under looked before. First is the ankles, and second the knees. Third is the panties that blow in the breeze. No need explaining the one remaining the one that I adore. I'm looking under a skirt of wonder that I've under looked before." http://www.wtv-zone.com/lulu2cute/index/Varlopage The music is: http://www.wtv-zone.com/lulu2cute/index/Fourleafclover.mid Search Strategy "I'm looking under a skirt" ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22I%27m+looking+under+a+skirt%22 I hope that this Answer provides you with exactly the information you needed! As far as I can tell, there is only one recorded version of that song, by Jerry Lee Lewis. It is definitely not in polka time, but is done in Lewis's honky-tonk piano/vocal style. It is apparently used as music for "line dancing" as well. I can tell you where to purchase the CD if this is what you are looking for. |

judtz9029 -- In response to your comment, here is a link to a page containing a short audio clip of the Jerry Lee Lewis recording: Tower Records: "Honky-Tonk Rock & Roll Piano Man http://www.towerrecords.com/product.asp?pfid=1037292&cc=USD The brief piece of the lyric included in the clip contains the word "skirt" -- not "dress" -- in the first line. |
