You need to give some examples ie a self driving battle tank needs a droan aircraft flying above and slightly ahead of the tank and several tv cameras, with infrared for use without head lights in the visable spectrun, plus short range radar and sonnar to identify possible objects that could cause a sudden stop, tip the tank over or get it stuck in mud, besides searching for anti tank mines and varrious types of enemy. The intellgence system needs to re-optimise each time one or more sensors fails. It is a very complex soft wear problem that so far does rather poorly compared to a well trained, alert and and highly motivated human. Neil |
