The 100, perhaps 1000, bioweapons labs and caches, each leak a live
micro-organism now and then which is creating some of the new ailments
in the recent decade. Devastation of these facilities in Iraq will
likely release a new wave of new ailments.
Medical organizations such as the AMA = American Medical Assocition,
the CDC= Center for Disease Control, health insurance industry,
hospitals, malpractice suits by (boo-hiss) lawyers are increasingly
bureaucratic and corrupt practices.
Future patients are not improving their diet or avoiding stress and
substance abuse nor is the idea of daily exersize expanding. While we
have made progress with some pollutants, others are becoming more
dangerous. Accidents are not decreasing nor is our water becoming
safer, nor our foods safer nor more nutritious. A rapid increase in
foreign trained doctors is lowering doctor patient, and doctor staff
communications success and perhaps standards in general. Costs to the
average paitient is increasing much faster than inflation but medical
success with patient health problems is not improving on net in spite
of some amazing progress in a few areas. Neil
