Until quite recently, most orhanages had a policy of not reveiling the
identity of the birth parents (if known) to anyone for any reason. Do
you want to find a specific set of parents? Are you doing research?
More clues would be helpful. Neil

Thanks Neil, This is a personal search for other people whose parents
were
raised in an orphanage. It is not about geneology or parentage. It is
about
being raised by someone who did not have parents. My mother's parents
died when
she was 10 so she knew who her family was but then was sent to an
orphanage after her loss. She suffered an existence much like the
children in the movie
"A Rabbit Proof Fence" but instead of Australia, it was Quebec. I
would want to know about literature, research and peer groups
regarding this topic. Again,
I am looking for information about those who have/had parents that
lived in an
orphanage. Your interest is appreciated.
