How can I use the " Find and Replace " function of MS Word to find and replace entire strings beginning with <script> and ending with </script> in a document. The objective is to find these two words and all the intervening characters including the two and delete them (replace them with nothing). I understand that using a wild card to represent the intervening characters would do the trick, but I am unable to make it work. |

In the search and replace tool, use the wildcard option. You have to use escape characters to escape out the greater-than/less-than characters. The string you will want to search for is \<script\>*\</script\> The \ character is your escape character. chellphill-ga | |
