I want the Chicago White Sox  "SOX" logo as a screensaver. Only found
desktops, but cannot find just a White Sox logo as a screensaver. I
need a site or anyplace where I can specifically find what I'm looking
for. The Chicago White Sox logo screensaver, or any Chicago White Sox
screensavers.

Hi cju7,

I have not been able to find a screensaver with the White Sox logo. 
However, I may be able to create one for you.  First, let me ask you a
couple of questions:

1) Please take a look at the following image:

Is this the White Sox logo that you are seeking?  If not, please look
at the following web page that has many different versions of the
White Sox logo and tell me which one you want:

2) What type of screensaver do you want?  Do you just want to have the
White Sox logo float around your screen and bounce off the edges?  If
so, I have found a freeware program that will take any image and
create that type of screensaver.  I can even resize the logo and
change the colors for you so that it looks exactly how you want.

Please let me know if you would like me to create a screensaver for
you.

I have to apologize to you, as I should have realized this before I
requested a clarification...

The Chicago White Sox logo is the property of Major League Baseball. 
This is stated on the Intellectual Property Rights page of MLB.com,
http://www.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/help/mlb_help_about_copyright.jsp :

"The following are trademarks or service marks of Major League
Baseball entities and may be used only with permission of Major League
Baseball Properties, Inc. or the relevant Major League Baseball
entity: [...] the names, nicknames, logos, uniform designs, color
combinations, and slogans designating the Major League Baseball clubs
and entities [...]"

If I were to create a screensaver using the White Sox logo, then I
would be infringing on one of Major League Baseball's trademarks.  In
order for me to legally create a screensaver with the logo, I would
have to obtain the permission of MLB first.  If you are still
interested in a custom screensaver, I can contact MLB and try to
obtain permission.  However, I do not know how long it will take them
to respond (if they respond at all), and there is a good chance that
they will not give me permission.
