I'm looking for a list of schools or businesses (including private
people) who could teach me to make my own sewing patterns. The

Hello bmf650-ga,

I’ve found a selection of schools and organizations that offer classes
in fashion design and pattern making in the Los Angeles area. Since
you said you were interested in possible contacting private people,
I’ve included academic programs that might not be of interest to you,
but you could approach the instructors for the pattern making class to
see if you could have a private session. In addition, I discovered
that there are quite a few workshops and classes available online.
I’ve included these as well.

Good luck with your sewing projects.
