Greetings, joneslds!

Even when records are sealed, it is sometimes possible for adoptees to
be reunited with their birth parents or their descendants. Voluntary
registries exist for the purpose of creating a central place where
adoptees and parents who are searching can post their information, and
possibly connect if their parent/child is searching for them as well.

Massachusetts has such a registry:
"This is a FREE adoption reunion registry exclusively for
Massachusetts adoptees-birthparents-siblings & relatives of...
currently in search...
4032 registrations have been posted at this site since it's creation
in May of 1997.. Well over 450 of these have been found."

Would checking the 1930 census for the birth parents help? Perhaps if
there were siblings of the birth parents (whom I'm assuming were not
married to one another at the time) , these people would also have
descendants? Are the birth parents deceased? Would they be in the
SSDI?
